Website Theme for Rock RMS

Build a Rock Website Without Starting from Scratch

Compass is a website theme for Rock RMS designed to help churches build a modern, flexible website without creating every page and component from the ground up.

Compass: Urban Hope gives ministry teams a stronger starting point for church website design, with reusable content components, flexible styling, and tools staff can manage without relying on a developer for routine updates.

It is built for the people who want to keep church websites current without duplication of effort.

This includes the website theme, demo site, starter pages, content components, documentation, and future theme updates at no additional charge.

$120 Annual Icon Subscription

Font Awesome Pro gives your church access to a larger, actively maintained icon library with strong readability, consistent styles, and ongoing updates.

How to Get Started

  1. Confirm requirements

Before installing Compass, confirm that your Rock instance is on version 17.4 or higher and that your church has an active Font Awesome Pro license.

Compass is designed for the parts of your Rock website that guests, members, and your broader community interact with publicly. If you are looking for a theme focused primarily on Rock account pages, authenticated experiences, staff tools, or other functional Rock pages, contact us. We can help you determine whether a different theme or approach would better fit that use case.

  2. Install plugin

Once installed, Compass will add the theme, a demo site, and starter pages to your Rock instance. This gives your team a safe place to explore the theme before making changes to your live website.

Your existing website will not be replaced by the plugin install.

  3. Build your new site

You can copy existing pages into a new page tree, copy starter pages, or build a new site structure using Compass as the theme.

This lets your team work on the new website separately before deciding when it is ready to go live.

  4. Customize your site

Update the theme settings, colors, images, navigation, page content, and content components to fit your church.

  5. Launch site

When your new site is ready, you can update your Rock domain assignments to point visitors to the new Compass website.

This gives your team flexibility to build, review, revise, and launch on your own timeline.
